 Sum 3D includes a tool path simulator to show the material removal by the tool. The simulation module reads up to 10 files in CNC ISO format. For each file the tool features can be specified. The simulation is displayed in several views: XY, XZ, YZ, ISO view or free view. At the end of the simulation, by clicking on a tool move, the related coordinate line in the file is shown for checking. This simulator allows to define the raw material coordinates. Tool paths should be
mirrored, rotated and translated simoultaneously on two different planes. |
